How Booking Works

Choose an open date on the calendar. Dates that are down to a few seats are marked.

Tell us who is booking
Add the contact details for the person making the reservation.

Add your guests
Enter a name and a lunch choice for every guest, and confirm every guest is 21 or older. Add any allergies or dietary needs so your host is ready.

Sign and check out
Every guest signs the Old SteelHouse Distillery waiver. Your seats are held for 15 minutes while you pay with Square. You are booked once the payment clears.

An intimate, history-driven opening to the day. A guided look at Bardstown bourbon heritage, with bourbon history and a real sense of place.

Time in the gift shop, the visitor experience, a bonded rickhouse experience and a guided tasting.

Five Brothers Bar & Kitchen

20-30 minute mini local introduction, then free time
Historic Downtown Bardstown
A mini local introduction to Court Square, Talbott Tavern, Jailer’s Inn and Historic Third Street, with local history and recommendations. Then free time to shop, visit tasting rooms, enjoy a cocktail or pick up a bottle. Downtown departure is 4:00 PM.

Double wagyu beef patties, bacon, house burger sauce, lettuce, tomato, red onion and Larceny pickles on a brioche bun.
Fried Chicken Cutlet
Ale 8-1 brined chicken breast with apple and cabbage slaw.
Shrimp & Grits
Jalapeño cheese grits, blackened shrimp and tomato gravy.
Caesar Salad
Crisp romaine lettuce, grilled lemon, croutons and fresh parmesan, tossed in house-made Elijah Craig Caesar dressing.
Options: Add grilled chicken, Add fried chicken. Adding chicken to the Caesar costs nothing extra.

Questions
Can one person book for the whole group?
Yes. One person books, enters every guest’s name and pays once. You do not need anyone else to create an account.
How many guests can I book at once?
Up to 14 guests in one booking, as long as that many seats are open on the date you pick.
How long are my seats held?
Fifteen minutes while you complete checkout. If the payment is not completed in that time, the seats are released for other guests.
How do I know my booking went through?
After you pay, the confirmation page says “You’re booked” and lists your booking number. If it says it is still confirming, give it a minute and refresh.
Can I share allergies, dietary or access needs?
Yes. Each guest has an allergy and dietary field and an access field so your host and Five Brothers can plan ahead.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes. Old SteelHouse Distillery asks every guest to sign its tour waiver. Each guest signs it online while you book, before you pay.
How much does it cost?
The Bardstown Day is $229 per guest.
Can children or anyone under 21 come?
No. Guests must be 21 or older. There are no minors on this experience, and you confirm each guest is 21+ when you book.
Can I skip the Family Bond cocktail?
Yes. Guests who skip the Family Bond cocktail can choose soda, water, tea or coffee instead.
Does adding chicken to the Caesar salad cost extra?
No. Adding chicken to the Caesar costs nothing extra.
How does lunch work?
Every guest picks one entree from the Five Brothers Bar & Kitchen menu while booking. The cocktail and appetizer come with every lunch.
My date is sold out or I need a different group size. What now?

Cancellation Policy
Guest cancels 48+ hours ahead: full refund. Under 48 hours: non-refundable. If WhiskMe cancels, the guest picks an alternate departure or a full refund.
